A quick update here: One of the people on board the Kaisei with us last summer produced a segment for the Dan Rather show. It explains the purpose of the trip and what we found very well. In time he has promised me a version of the production that I can embed on here, but for now it is available on iTunes for the small price of $1.99. Follow this link to it if you like.
